1. Who We Are
Bespoke Wine Shop ("Bespoke", "we", "us") operates an SMS-based wine assistant ("Savi") and this website at bespoke-tr.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. SMS Service — What We Collect
When you text our number to interact with Savi, we receive your message content and your mobile number via Twilio (our SMS carrier). We never store your raw phone number. Instead, we immediately convert it to a one-way cryptographic token (HMAC-SHA256) that cannot be reversed to reveal your number. No personal identifier is retained on our servers.
We store:
- Your anonymized token (derived from your number — not the number itself)
- Your message history with Savi (used to provide context in conversations)
- A preference profile Savi builds over time (e.g., wine styles you enjoy)
- Opt-in status and the date you consented to receive messages
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to power the Savi wine assistant — personalizing wine recommendations based on your taste preferences, answering questions about wines in our inventory, and improving the quality of future responses. We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
Operating Savi requires sharing data with the following trusted providers under their own privacy policies:
- Twilio — routes inbound and outbound SMS messages
- Anthropic (Claude) — processes your messages to generate Savi's responses; messages are sent to Anthropic's API and are subject to their data usage policies
- Supabase — hosts our database where your tokenized data and conversation history are stored
- Lightspeed Retail — our point-of-sale system, queried for wine inventory and pricing
- Twilio SendGrid — sends email confirmations for event inquiries submitted through this website
- Stripe — processes payments for wine purchases, event tickets, and club memberships; stores your saved payment method details securely (we never see or store your full card number)
5. SMS Consent & TCPA Compliance
Bespoke Wine Shop maintains two separate SMS consent categories, each with its own opt-in. Each category is stored as a distinct TCPA consent record with a timestamp.
Account (transactional) messages. By creating an account by phone or checking the account-messages box on bespoke-tr.com/sms-signup, you consent to receive one-time verification codes, wine club pickup notifications, and event announcements for events you have signed up for. Frequency: approximately 1–5 messages per month.
Marketing (promotional) messages — separate express written consent. Only if you have independently checked the marketing-messages box on bespoke-tr.com/sms-signup (or signed a written in-store marketing consent form), you will additionally receive promotional SMS including personalized wine recommendations from Savi, new arrival announcements, and promotional offers. Frequency: approximately 1–5 marketing messages per month. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchase or account creation.
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details. You may purchase wine and attend events without providing a phone number.
To opt out of all SMS from us, reply STOP at any time. For help, reply HELP or call 864-720-4656.
We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is used exclusively by Bespoke Wine Shop for the message types described above. We do not sell, rent, or distribute your phone number to any other company or individual.
6. Your Rights — Deleting Your Data
You have the right to have all your data permanently deleted. To exercise this right, simply text DELETE to our number. This will immediately and permanently erase your token, all conversation history, and your preference profile from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

7. Age Restriction
Bespoke Wine Shop sells alcohol. The SMS service and this website are intended for adults aged 21 and older. By using our service you confirm you are of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction.
8. Website & Form Data
When you submit an event inquiry through bespoke-tr.com/book-event, we collect your name, email, phone, and the details you provide. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and is sent via email to our staff. We do not retain it in a database.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security practices: HMAC-SHA256 phone tokenization, HTTPS for all connections, and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our service evolves. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date at the top of this page.
